Treated Neil and Kate and myself to a strange array of exotic (and one common) fruit. I had only ever had two of the plate before, those being the housewife's choice honeydew mellon and the hit-and-miss physalis, wrapped in its own paper. Taking centre stage were the passion fruit, dragon fruit and papaya, I will review each thusly...
The Papaya tastes like an under-ripe cantaloupe and is hard to peel.
Passionfruit has about 1 grapes worth of edible matter in each fruit, and feels and tastes like large tomato seeds, if a little sweeter and citric.
Don't even bother with dragonfruit, it's like a less tart kiwi, although it is quite easy to eat with a spoon unlike the logic puzzle that is the halved kiwi.
In conclusion to the question I should have posed at the beginning of this blog; which fruit is the stupidest: the winner is...
The papaya; because while the passion fruit is lame, the papaya is a less nice version of a not so special fruit to begin with.

Cardboard CupArt
Matt drew me a little Godzilla frame on a paper coffee cup during a composition lecture. How smart is that? I might start marketing this little objeda and make some serious pence. Wisely enough he kept the margin of the image quite printer-friendly and tried (without success) to make the cup a three-frame comic. He failed due to lack of space but there are other issues at play here, namely that comics exist in a specific time frame and the orbitic path of a cup is eternal. That is unless you diagonalise the cells and have a long comic or simply find content that can exist in perpetuation.

My Sister.
My sister is going to the big apple to represent Lowestoft College in the national hair growing competition. Her speciality is limb hair. Good luck Pippa.
But on a less serious note...
I Got all of my *glee* digital arts documentation done and even whipped up a website for it. [www.faceplaceshouldneverbeonline.com]. Now that is put t bed I can finally look into finishing zombie wedding and making a start on Spirit Heart. Hopefully going to get some people round to dramatically read the samples of Spirit Heart for me to I can get to grips with the drama of it. You would think I would get all the information I need from just the text but Gary has literally sent me the script (in the wrong formatting), no character profiles or even a plot synopsis.

A Half of Half Bore
You could life off of this stuff. Made up of Devon honey and plenty of love, Hunter's Brewery's Half Bore is one smooth son of a pint. It has that delicate malt flavour you imagine drinking water would have once had in the middle ages; the nectar of Chaucer and Henry II. It has a hops smell with very faint but pleasant nodes of summer AND winter fruits as well is a tiny hint of the perfume that you imagine dandelions must smell like. [I say "dandelions must smell like" because dandelions don't smell particularly sweetly. The first sip had lime in it but that soon passed.
I'll finish as I started; you could live off this stuff.

Stupid Parrot.
When I entered the little room where the Parrot lived, it looked at me, arched it's back, spread it's wings and turned to face me beak to beak. Then it did a poo and relaxed. So like us.
Anyway yes I am still doing this stupid documentation. You should seriously read it, you can hear that I am bitter about a couple of my lecturers being knobs and I am too angervose (that's when your impassioned with evil) to tone it down. Neil convinced me that I should do a website as well as the text documentation and while it's not much of a problem really, its a pain. Also faceplace is a physicalised realisation of Facebook so to put it online would be a little counter-productive. Nevertheless I purchased for about £20 a website called www.faceplaceshouldneverbeonline.com. Clever? I think not. First earning?, doubt it. Documentation only counts for 30% of this mark so I seriously doubt I'll even get a 2:1 for it. I have been stitched up royal this time tweety boy.

Jack Willy Shakespeare.
When I'm older I'm going to hunt some deer so I can finally have a place to hang my knickers and scarfs.
But on a less serious note, I am severally procrastinating. I have documentation for FACEPLACE (digital arts coursework) in for thursday and I have done about 10% of the word-count. It's so stupid and horrible and I hate it. Don't you hate it when you have work to do but all the while your photo albums are getting dangerously un-tagged, and your font collection is in desperate need of a thinning.
Ugghgg well, back to the sloth. I think I better go make what must be my tenth cup of tea since noon.

The Model lies.
None of the clothes this model is wearing is available, or as i can tell, has been any time recently. Why do they lie to us?
RE: Zombie Wedding...
R.C. sent me some updated music ideas for pretty much the last three songs but what with my digital arts documentation looming I dare not give it look until Thursday.
So Neil and I came home to the Northlands for a long weekend to celebrate his 26th birthday and boy howdy, it snowed. Considering I was considering wearing shorts in Plymouth a couple days earlier, this is a strange phenomena. Ladies and gentlemen, the British weather. No doubt there is a tornado in Preston right now.
Went to a shopping village today. One of those away from town discount villages, towns built quickly and cheaply purely for the consumption of coffee and high street brands at low low prices. The combination of the drab retail architecture and hunks of snow everywhere I felt like I was in Regina or an open air outlet mall in Montana. Couple that image with the painfully flat and rural Fenlands where this place sits and you really get that middle America feel. Seriously folks, avoid the Fenlands. It's dullness is a breeding ground for serial killers.

Batman toastie
None of the other toasties had this logo written in mushroom across the front, it must be a sign. Ironically really because unlike Bruce Wayne who watched his parents die and then suffered a flourish of bats, a menacing proposition that would go on to cause the man serious mental damage and thus every time he puts on the costume is a confrontation with his dark past, I quite like toasties.

Snowy Meadow
This totally came out of nowhere. We return home to the Norfolk from the Tropics and the next day... bang! Snow everywhere. When am I going to find a chance to wear my new broad shorts and test out the new jetski?
Smoke over the Dart
Taken about two days after the photo below, and at about the same time, the Dart never ceased to present itself in strange, wonderful ways. The smoke here is not rolling over the hills, it is hovering over the swamp. As the morning drew late all that was left was a fine strip of fog about twenty feet over the river. It looked like an Indian smoke signal moving horizontally.
Amazing morning over Dartmouth.
Had to post this 7am red morning. Naturally I went back to bed and woke up at a more acceptable 9:30 or so. I'm fairly impressed with the iPhone's colour capacity I must say.

Back On Track (again)
Guess who has a fancy new mobile phone? I can't tell you which one but you know.
I promised my mom ages ago that I would post pictures of my student house and great view over the Dart estuary and since my new phone actually has a camera; those pictures are in the blog below.
I have decided to give http://www.danielsturman.com a face lift and am doing it page by page. It's becoming really web 2.0, now rather than a music page it's a link you my myspace, and the news page is a link to my blog. How cool is that?
So it's the end of January now and it looks like R.C and I might be too late to send zombie wedding to the NYMT festival this year, but it's okay, there are always other opportunities. I've just started on new songs for it and I think there are now only three more to write and the show is done. First draft that is.
RE: College. Finished my CEP, just, and now have a very intense but soon-to-be over Digital Arts course in which we have to explore augmented realities, or how digital mediums alter our perception on reality and how we relate to that. More self-obsessed digitalism. I tire of it.
